Nature
Ever felt claustrophobic sitting in a room one to one? Felt the gaze of another persons eye which feels too intense? Maybe you have experienced something within a small setting and need a way to voice that in a different way? Well, don't worry because there is a way to be able to feel more relaxed within counselling and that can be done through a walk and talk guided session.
Outdoor Walk and Talk
Outdoor walk and talk is a great way to explore you as a whole. It offers not only the mental aspect of therapy, but the spiritual and physical aspect as well. Walking outside in nature is a great way to move forward when feeling stuck and the environment around you can help you navigate your way around things in a creative way. I will lead clients in a safe manner, in a place that has been risk assessed for safety purposes. The walks will last around 55 minutes with a 5 minute grounding at the end. The walks will also provide seating to offer pauses along the way.

Whatever you are wanting to bring to the session we will walk slowly through it together with a sense of equality in the therapeutic relationship. As we move side by side together, we allow the nature around us to help find a new perspective, through mindfulness and power in movement.
